    Right,

I'm getting a DS Lite tomorrow, I already have Metroid and Castlevania which I've completed neither. I am going to order another game tomorrow on the net aswell. The question is :

    Which one?

    Starfox is released this friday?

Hmm, I might order it from lik-sang or playasia and it should be here sometime next week. I don't mind waiting as I've got Metroid and Castlevania to play.

    EDIT - Just found this = http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-ba-49-en-70-1d7v.html

Starfox ain't out until September. Tenchu is though, Wonder if that's good.

Starfox is available stateside this friday. I'm seeing boxes in store already for it.

The release date was brought forward but FF is a Sept release.

Now to wait for Mario Hoops...

I would recommend Electroplankton, Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! or Advance Wars, in that order. I'm too lazy to justify my selections.

Id go with New SMB or Advance Wars. Im trying to get the bro playing AW so I can play the multiplayer!

I've heard Meteos is a good puzzler.

If you want value for money get Brian Age, great laugh.

Avoid Nintendogs like the plague, unless you really really really like puppies.

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time!

Hmm, What's that Ouenden game like? :g

I didn't realise Starfox was a plane/spaceship type shooter. Ugh, I was disgusted when I saw the screens.

Guess that one is out the window.

Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time!

Can't belive how low in the thread this recommendation came.

The above is a super game. RPG fun.

I'm playing Viewtiful Joe Double Trouble and enjoying it immensely. Would highly recommend it. Only ptoblem is that it's no where near as challenging as the Console viewtiful joe games.

It's FANTASTIC, absolutely everyone I've shown this game to have fallen in love with it instantly, personally I prefer electroplankton but most people would pick ouendan before it. It's a rythm action type thing with little circles you have to tap and ridiculously intense male cheerleaders and a really catchey soundtrack. There are a few other fans in here, and I'm sure they'll agree with me when I say it's one of the best games on the DS.

I'm new to the whole DS thing, only have one a few weeks but Brain Training... I showed it to my vehemently anti games girlfriend and she robbed the DS from me so she coulld train every day... It's easy to pick up and really exemplifies everything that makes the DS the best handheld you could ever hope for... Also, can't wait for FFIII, it looks amazing!!

NSMB is a, pick up and play for two days until you do it all and never touch it again, type of game

Haha - I got every level unlocked - but I can't stop until I have every star coin. There'd be an abyss in my life! Love the game.

I'm knee deep in Advance Wars: DS too - fantastic game. Like chess, only fun and more nerdy.. :D

Oooohhhhh, Eskimo. You were beaten by a GIRL.

How does that make you feel? And no, it's not beaten in a sexual way.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 18,115 ✭✭✭✭ShiverinEskimo

Ah - I rest comfortably knowing that I play it only while dumping at home. So 10/15 mins a day with a hefty dose of pins and needles...

Plus I have a job, a girlfriend and an alcohol problem so in my own little world I'm ok with being beaten by a girl.
