    Hi there

Im handy at painting and was going to advertise for work on local papers part time.

How much would be a fair price as Im not qualified.

IO recently got a quote form a Polish crew who i thought was a rip off.

    Cheers
    Noel

You ask how much is a fair price? I ask how long is a piece of string.

Paint a wall. Time yourself. Now, imagine a house. How many hours would it take? Multiply it by €8. And then add in the cost of the paint, etc.

My advice: do one or two jobs, and go from there. You no doubt want to make a profit, yes? Sure, you could do what the painting instead of the polish lads, but no doubt they add a profit to the total cost?

If you are going to advertise, be prepared to incur the wrath of 'real' painters who won't be impressed.
