    Hi,
I had a c-section 7 weeks ago and am now ready to lose some of this weight i am carrying (especially on my belly). Anyone got any good suggestions of how to go about this, remembering i now have a gorgeous little baby in tow!!

    Any advice would be welcome!

    First get doctors ok

Second read all stickys on diet and exercise

Thrid, NO DIRECT ADDOMINAL WORK!! Use pilates type exercises to focus on the TVA rather than the abs directly.

Are you a member of a gym?
Post your current diet and exercise program

    Thanks Transform,

Have had the 6 week check and all is okay. Finding it hard to get motivated to exercise (i'm not a member of any gym) and to break the chocolate habit that i developed during the pregnancy. Can you reccommend any pilates type DVD's???

    Hi Little H,

For helping with the diet I'd suggest going to WeightWatchers. Also the UK website has forums where you can chat to people in similar circumstances to yourself. You don't have to join WeightWatchers to use the forums.

I'd recommend Charlie Brooks Before and After DVD. She used it for getting into shape after having a baby so it could suit you. I commented on another post about it at http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2054977275
