Here's an unusal one: My Macbook won't connect to a completely open and unencrypted network, but only in OS X. It doesn't seem to retrieve DNS and router information. It works perfectly under Windows XP though.

Macbook Pro, latest software all round. I'd say more, but I've been on my feet for 34 hours
