Im currently living in the states and bought a laptop over here.

What im wondering is when I bring it home do I just need to get a cable that goes from the socket to the transformer? (so I can use and Irish plug instead of American)

Im pretty sure I can but it pays to be certain

This is the transformer by the way

    110-240V 50/60Hz Auto-Detect International Compatible

Thats the important bit, plug can just be cut off and replaced or just use an adaptor.

Ya thats what I figured I might have to do. Adapters are a pain though so I may just get and extra cable and change he plug.

    Cheers for easing my mind
