Can anyone who is doing this course give me a rough idea of what time the day ends and starts at on a monday and friday? i know it changes and depends on subjects etc. but does it usually start at nine or finish at six or something? any idea at all would help. I would be majoring in english and history

It is very much determined by your course. You'll likely start at 10 - 12 in the morn and you won't be leaving at 6 every day, but you might on one or two days - lectures that start at 6 or 7 are usually tutorials. Friday in first year is not entirely mandatory.

TBH it depends entirely on your courses. Not having done any of yours, I can say that you will have at least one 9am start, one late finish, andafew 10/11 starts. It all depends. Sorry, but you've to wait for the timetable.

This thread title is rather ironic upon 2nd viewing.

If you want a rough idea of the kind of format to expect, you could always try browsing through www.nuigalway.ie to the faculty website and look at the subject/module/lecture timetables from 05/06 - though don't expect the days to match up.

    Better than nothing.
