    Hey all,
    Just to let you know my department is hiring right now and looking to fill 2 technical positions in our Level2 tech team in the Cork office. Permanent positions.

    The job would be supporting products which replicate data from production hosts via SAN to other hosts for repurposing, backup / DR. The Level2 team take escalations from Level1 and field directly and work with engineering to assist in identifying the issue and designing a fix for same. This is the last line of support prior to engineering, so issues escalated are normally justified for same, ie complex/challenging.

    The position would require;
    ====================
    Detailed - Windows 2000/2003 knowledge, Networking, SAN, Storage/SCSI.
    SQL Server, Exchange, Clustering
    Medium - Unix / Linux knowledge, Oracle, WAN
    Server hardware, HBAs

    Based on the nature of the position, it really does requires on-demand knowledge of same and so there needs to be a solid working knowledge of same.

    I dont work for HR, etc, I am a techie myself working in the team which has the positions, just thought I would post to boards.ie to help good people finding a job. I personally love the job because there is very little/no repetitive work involved.

    Sorry, dont know what the enumeration is, probably neg. Looking for people with experience in same (doesnt all jobs :) ) .

    You can PM if you require a detailed spec of the job / send a CV.
    James.
