    http://www.falconblanco.com/health/cleansing/lemoncleanse.htm

I've lost 6 pound's and been busy with work so weight loss has been staying still more or less!

Am going to follow this as a way of cleansing/jumpstarting metabolism as I'm a junk food addict and never have time really to cook/shop!
I'M GOING TO DO IT FOR 10 days!

with all due respect, sorting out the cooking/ shopping and junk food thing will help a lot more with weight loss than sucking on lemons or sticking them in water (I sort of lost interest in the site after seeing physical spelt 'fisical'). meh, each to their own I guess

Indeed, because you should never eat good proper foods and have a healthy balanced diet for HEALTH benefits.....nope......it's all about the aesthetics!!!

If you don't have time to shop then how do you have time to "eliminate" several times in the space of an hour?

    eliminate ????

    That site wrote:
This oral enema will flush out your entire digestive tract and colon from top to bottom, usually within an hour, prompting you to eliminate several times, clearing out the plaque and debris from the walls, and the parasites that have been living there.

    Eliminate, F*ck yeah!

So I am guessing you will be in such a frenzy after drinking this mixture you will run around, ripping peoples heads off and generally causing ninja-like mayhem. That or you will do many a do-do.

Ah, so that's what they were trying to get at, I was wondering.

ah I see is that not the point of a detox

It was just a thought I'm stiil trying to figure out how to beat my addiction to eddie rocket's twice a week!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,285 ✭✭✭Smellyirishman

Yes, it also means you will need a free hour or half hour for dedicated eliminating, unless you want to be running to the toilet every 5 minutes in work wondering if your going to make it. So instead of spending that time "detoxing" spend it walking down to the shops, buying some things and then preparing them. Much better.

There is no point in detoxing just so you can retoxicate.

    Don't go in there.

    It's food, not heroin.

Sorry this is off topic totally but the biggest motivation not to go to "Ripoff Rockets" would be your wallet. 9.20 for a burger and large diet coke, I kid you not....

    Plus eh...yeah, that motivation/willpower pishposh too....of course :D

CSG why are you so hell bent on all these fads?? there really is no magic formula or miracle diet involved. Ok so it takes some practice but eating well is quite simple. yeah, sure will-power is required, and *shock, horror* even some hard work, but for long-term success it's about more than latching onto whatever "guaranteed results" dieting fad is in vogue.

    Because i'm lazy that's why
I'm good at maintaining weight for some reason
I watch what I eat (to a certain extent)my problem is portion control mostly and I exercise for a least and hour 2-3 times a week.
I just want a detox option first

    Because i'm lazy that's why

I doubt that. Very few people I have met and trained are actually lazy. They just don't have their priorities right. I gauren-damn-tee you will go out of your way to do the things you enjoy and eat the food you like etc, etc. That's fine eveyone does. So you're probably not lazy.

I have found with my clients who give a similar response that when they want to lose weight they are trying to conform to an opinion that tv and womens mags convey, like the sites you have referred to. The fact is they want to involve themselves in the latest fashionable trend which happens to be losing weight.

Hence supplement companies can turn around and say this magic rock will cause you to lose weight if you put it in your fridge.

real weight loss is very simple - but its not easy.

You seem like a nice girl, nor do you sound as though you have any major health problems.

Persoanlly, as a fitness trainer, I say go and enjoy eddies, enjoy your food, enjoy your lifestyle and be comfortable in it.

When you really want to lose weight you will bend over backwards and dedicate yourself to a good clean calorie controlled diet and regular exercise. Until then don't sweat it and don't waste your time posting about lemon detox diets when you could be something far more fun :D

Alternatively I have a rock in my fridge that I could sell to you for $$$$$$$:D ;)

I read about this cool new weight loss diet in Heat. All I had to do was cut off my leg. I've already lost over a stone!!

I'm good at maintaining weight for some reason

Choose Answer A or B as appropriate :

    a) Obviously not if you feel the need to consistently come into Fitness, ask questions and then ignore the advice given or post random mindless **** that the actual experienced people here will tell you will not help you a whole lot. I assume there must be a reason for this and that is that you have gained weight and are not happy with it???

    b) You might be good at maintaining weight.....but that doesn't mean you don't need to lose any. I was 19.5 stone for years.

    Sawdust diet

Full of fibre and guaranteed to help bowel movements.

You want to detox easy - get a colonic or take colax (every health food shop has them) for a few days. However, it is not going to change much unless you address eddie friggin rockets - just looking at the people who eat there regularly is enough to put me off.

Oh and on another note just looking at what overweight/lazy people put in their shopping baskets is enough to keep me on the straight an narrow - well that and a good self Flagellation!!!

Totally typical of these fads diets amazingemmet, you put it right back on when you install your new peg-leg.
