Looks like you might have accidently messed with the bios??

Did you change any hardware settings recently or change your page file settings?

uhh ya i changed the pagefile because it was too high(600MB changed it to 420MB) and it broke
i changed it back and it is still broken

Right its not that page file as page file is associated with windows, not the bios.

Unlikely that the bios changed setting for itself if you were not in there and tbh it doesn't sound like you were in there.

Best to clear the cmos anyways (either by using the clear CMOS jumper on mainboard or pulling the battery).

If that doesn't work it is either:

    - Faulty IDE cables, maybe one came lose
    - Faulty floppy.
    - Over heating
    - Faulty Power supply.

I would take out all IDE cables and see if that helps. might be worth stripping out pci cards as well.
    Best of luck.

Edit - i should really read posts properly. I thought your computer would stall and not return. It really sounds like IDE cable problems then. Trying to detect Floppy/Hard Drive or Cdrom drives. It keeps trying for 5 mins and give sup and continues. More than likely you will be short a drive, like your cd rom drive.
