It looks like a remake of the of the 1D mark II ,1.3 crop factor.
    Sounds great for sports .

Probably all smoke and mirrors, but I'd buy one if I could even remotely afford it. I wish Photokina would come along a bit quicker and lay all this scuttlebutt to rest.

Eye control!!! Yippee. The thing I miss most from my old EOS 5 film camera. Even though I can't afford it I would buy one for that reason alone.

Please let it be real!! :p

440Hz: that looks like a film camera:(

The hot money is on a 22mp 1Ds MkII upgrade (one linky). This is supposedly the website, but my hebrew is non too good, and tolerance for banner ads only slightly better.

If you follow his timeline, it, or the 350D are the only ones due an update at this point in time, and a new 360D, or alternatively a 3000D entry level dSLR are hardly the stuff of "legend" as they would have it.

At any rate, we'll find out in a weeks time

If it's real, I'm buying it instead of a 30D...but I really really hope it's real...

If that camera is real ,which it probably isn't it will probably sit on top of the 5d and under the 1d ,might bring the 5d price down.

hopefully.. seeing as the price of the 5D is completely outlandish at the moment...

That was if it's real, which of course it's not... :D

Off topic: If you use firefox with the adblock and filterset.G extensions and do some creative things with firefox's cookie settings you can kiss 99% of all adds goodbye.

Nah, as I said in the thread title it's all rumour at this stage. I was just drooling at the thought of a camera like that finally being within my price range (if I saved for a year :)).
