    i have a plug in ntl broadband.
    i want to get a wireless connection.
    what do i need to do/get to make this happen?

    You need a router, not an access point. This will work fine.

    It's easy enough to setup. Switch off ntl modem for 10-15 mins to release the ip lease. Then connect pc to router using ethernet cable to configure it (instructions that come with it will explain how and what you need to do). Disconnecr router from PC, connect the ntl modem to its wan port. Switch on router, switch on ntl modem and you should be good to go!
