need to uninstall IE7 Beta 2 to install Beta 3, thing is it's not listed in Add/Remove programs, I have tried the command lines to manually remove it that are listed on the MS site of which there are 4 run commands, but none of them work in fact when i look i dont have the directory they point to.

All my searching on the issue seems to indicate im boned on this one this MS releases a fix, I think what may have happened is CCleaner deleted the files i need to uninstall it. Tried checking regedit for an uninstall string also but had no luck or maybe i was just looking in the wrong place.

Any one got any suggestions? I though maybe if i tried to reinstall Beta 2 again and then try to remove it that might work but i can't seem to find a copy of it on my pc or online.

Edit: I just checked my work pc, i have beta 2 on there also but in this case i have the $NtUninstallie7beta2$ directory i need to remove Beta 2, can i use this to get rid of it from my home pc?

no need...head back into the add/remove panel and tick show updates..IE7 then shows up and can be removed from there

As above, if that doesn't work then use System Restore to rollback to before you installed IE7.

no good..it doesn't creat a restore point unless done manually

It really should create a restore point automatically (like it does with drivers and other programs) before installing 'major' software like that however.
