    Hey

When I go to google or other search engines Ive used before whenever I click on the designated space to type words in or when i begin typing a list of previous searches appears under the box or searches beginning with the same letter I have just typed. And on some sites liek hotmail etc email address show up when i click on box to enter email address to sign in.

IS there anyway to get rid of these lists in google etc? MAy seem like stupid qestion, but I cant figure it out....

    Thanks in advance:P

Tools->Internet Options->Clear History would clear the addresses but if you want to turn it off from auto completing then it would be Tools->Internet Options->Content->AutoComplete and untick the boxes.

i think there is an option under internet explorer where u can turn off that feature. its not set as a default, but u could revert to default settings. when u go back into IE, and try to search the previous should be deleted and a screen will pop up asking u if u want to remember ur searches.

apologies for not being clearer as i am working from memory and also now use a MAC..!!

    edit:

    RUU, ur the man

Give CCleaner a go if you want to clean up your computer also. Have a look here too.
