If he had a concealed carry permit(which are common in america) he would've been allowed to have the gun in his car or on his person.It looked like clear cut case of self defence anyway.

In fairness, they did look kind of scared. "There's a baseball diamond down the road" what idiots. That's the thing about the US, you can never know who's going to be packing a gun on them. Sounds like one of the Northern States like Montana or somewhere like that, just by the accesnt. "Eh" all the time and the fact that he's driving "aboot". Could be Canada, but gun laws are a tad more stringent there. None of this "Right to Bear Arms" crap.
