    Hi All,

    This may be an outrageous request.... (hopefully not but it's UNLIKELY)

    I was wondering if some kind hearted Rugby Fans would be able to point me in the direction of some available tickets for the Ireland v S.Africa game.

    I have some family and friends arriving in Dublin that weekend that I haven't seen in years (I know "SOB" story - but true) and I would really like to get my hands on some tickets if at all possible so that I could take them to the game to support the Boks (God knows they need it)

    I realise they have all sold out but I am putting my faith in Humanity.
    Considering the absolute hammerings we got from the Ozzies and the All Blacks earlier this year, I'm in need of a lot of Faith restoration.

    So if anyone knows how or where I can get my hands on some tickets at this stage in the game, I would greatly appreciate it.

    You've a problem there in that tickets for that match are tied to the match against the Pacific Islands two weeks later. Unless you know some PI fans who want to buy a pair of tickets and then not bother with the SA match, I can't imagine having much luck here.

    Other routes to take to get tickets would normally be to joint the Irish Rugby Supporters' Club or join a local rugby club. Tickets have already been distributed via the Supporters' Club so your only hope on that front would be returns.

    Some clubs distribute tickets amongst their members, some don't. You can link to my club's webpage via my profile.

    The next best chance is to go to a pub near the venue before the game and you might pick one up from another supporter, but please don't buy from a tout.

    I couldn't, as an Ireland fan, condone distribution of Irish tickets to a Saffy! ;)
