anyone know the best place / site to buy these from

At the moment, mediawrite.ie and komplett look to be ok, but the delivery charge adds to cost. not too sure about ebay.

If you live near a decent Tesco outlet, they've got spindles of 25 of their own brand DVDR's for sale at €12.99 but very hard to get.

As soon as the Sligo store gets them in, they're practically sold out the same day!

Thats because you buy them all, Basquille!! :)

I use SVP (http://www.svp.co.uk). Good value, and relatively cheap postage.

    or 8x tub of 100 DVD+R @ €38

Sometimes worth keeping an eye on Adverts.ie For Sale Discs Forum.
You might get lucky there or put an add in the Discs wanted section.

How many are you looking for?

PC World have 25 own brand DVD+R (also -R, have not tried these) for €8.99.

Quality varies, got a few bad last time.

Also, speed varies, last batch were 8 speed, I never burn faster than 4 anyway.

I did'nt know the discount delivery was to Ireland. Is it only for those discs or could you add different brands to that order to get the discount shipping?

You need to buy 2 things from the 99p section to get that delivery price. http://svp.co.uk/products-list.php?cid=225 I went for 2 x Infinit White Top to cheapen the load.

I've used mediawrite for a few years, always top quality, professional place. Think delivery is set at 5/6.50 no matter what you order. datawrite yellow are very good and reliable for dvd movies and data, never had problems with them.

If you are cork a fella from mediawrite will normally drop them off somewhere for free. I collected stuff from them in Bishopstown, and there was a few other customers there as well. Like drug dealing, except for blank media. Great stuff! :D

SVP do free delivery on orders over £300...

You'd want to have a big group all wanting a fair bit to make use of it though, it's not for everyone!
