New Shower...

Complete DIY retard here lads, so bear with me...

I want to put a power/electric shower in my house.

I think a power one is easier/not as messy, am I right?

I was in a friends house recently, he has a fantastic power shower that needs the heat/immersion to be on for warm water (whereas an elec one doesn't, right?)

What is the best one to get and how much should you spend? Do I need a plumber/sparks or both?

Another friends told me that as my second bedroom is the room directly above my fusebox (which is in my porch area) that's very handy and the installer person will drill down from there?

Altogether, what sorta money would you be talkin about to get a decent one and are you talking about ripping through walls etc?
