BJJ got mentioned to me as being in DCU as of late and I was wondering could anybody give me more info on this club. Have you ever trained under the instructors or with the association? It seems more course than club based from the site but maybe I'm wrong?!?

Wait... I did a bit of actual reading and finding out. MaeveD you would be able to field that question would you? :o

Yep, Ray had a BJJ club in DCU last year, we're waiting to see what the story is for this year, apparently the Sports Complex is going to be run privately so things will change from past years regarding clubs etc. When I find out, I'll let you know... I'm sure it will be mid September before we know whats happening!
I do BJJ with Ray in Swords and Fairview... theres a few others who post here that train with him! It's club not course based, although he does run beginners courses every now and again.

Ha. That's gas. There's was killings in college over the fact that that place isn't owned by DCU and about fees for the gym and the pool and stuff :D . You've to book the halls yonks in advance to be in with a shout too, we're still awaiting allocation  .

Is/was Ray club student run club or is it totally external? It'd be cool to have a training group to roll with on campus, otherwise I'll have to keep jumping on the Rugby team for practice! :D
