Syphon Filter (PSP) - Infrastructure Mode

I just tried going into Multiplayer - Infrastructure Mode on Syphon Filter for the PSP. However my internet connection option is greyed out despite the fact that I can use the connection to open my Internet browser. Has anyone had the same problem, and if so a solution?
