What song was in your head when you woke?

Music is one of my favourite things in life. And it absolutely seeps into my dreams!
I wake up most every morning with a song playing in my head.
Perhaps it was background music in the very last dream I had before I woke up?

Anyway, I thought this would make a fun thread here if everyone posts what song was going through their head each day.

Fo me, this morning it was Filter's Take A Picture

    What was yours?

    Hugs,

    L4L

I play a lot of classical at night when I read. Oh, a few nights ago I had a grand dream with Bolero in the background. Whew!:p

Aw, Demetrius, sorry to hear you don't dream with music on a regular basis.

    Me? All the time!

This morning, it was Adam Sandler's Grow Old With Me.
Must have been a sweet dream but it eludes me today.

Its not quite a song but the line "An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred!" kept going through my head the other morning...

This morning I woke to the strains of "Kind Hearted Woman" by Robert Johnson spinning round my head... that's a bad sign for me. Blues in the morning put me in a blue mood.

Aw, Boneless, you just listen to the wrong kind of blues!
    (Although Robert Johnson is classic!)
Maybe you ought to look up Bonnie Raitt?
You could wake up to "Love Me Like A Man"!:p
Seriously, we have very similar tastes in music, though.

And Blue, yes, I DO sing in my sleep on occasion! You can take the girl off the stage, but you can't take the stage out of the girl, I guess!

This morning I woke to Melissa Ethridge in my head. But that's because I was listening to her a few days ago, so it must still be looping through my brain.

    Hugs,

    L4L

    "Aroo-ba, everybody salsa!"
It's from the 70's, don't know who sang it, but my brother's currently on honeymoon in Aruba so that chant has been going round and round in my mind since he arrived there!

Car Wash by Rose Royce! I have no idea why, but I feel I ought to don Roller Skates and shiny shorts and commence to dancing!:D

One time I fell asleep listening to U2 on my iPod.

I started dreaming of something like a soap opera, where the father of these two young men had problems. He told them to "pack up, we're going to leave today".

So the young men started singing "Stuck in a Moment". :D

And at the end of the song, the father climbed into his van, started the engine and drove away. And the young men sang, "It's just a moment, this time will pass..."

Then the next song on the album started playing, and I woke up.

HA! Ruu that is too funny! I can picture you throwing off the covers bobbing your head to the beat, combing your hair to the beat, then making your way down the hall to the bathroom dancing all the way!

Today it was Storms Never Last - Jessie Coulter and Chris Kristofferson.

But I know where that came from. My Dad is in the hospital. He used to play that one. The brain keeps on working even when we're not looking!

Neither, it's from the Neon Genesis Evangelion soundtrack. I *think* the artist is Yoko Takahashi.
