    Hi all,
has anyone used 3D house design sofware to draw up their initial house plans. If so what package did you use and would you recommend it?
    Thanks

Try "Google sketch"... have not used it yet but a friend raves about it.

Are you try to design a house from scratch in 3D. Or do you have a 2D plans and want to draw up a 3D model of the house, to see how it will look and make changes.

The easiest package for you to learn/use would be sketch-up. Its the quickest and least complex. You can get a free version from google. I'd recomend doing the tutorials first to learn basics.
