Cheap Hotel/ Guest House Accommodation In Amsterdam

I'm sure plenty of people here have been to "The Dam". I was there last year but had some where to stay.

Could someone recommend some cheap(ish) hotels or guest houses in Amsterdam? Done a bit of searching on the web but was just wondering if someone knew of some where in particular.

I stayed in this place twice. Its well priced, clean, right beside Centraal Station and they have a lift (as you know, stairs in Amsterdam suck, especially when you're drunk)

Thats funny, i remember i was quite sick after over indulgence(gastritis) and this dutch woman said she'd ring a doctor and invited me into her apartment, f***n stairs was like a mountain, nearly collapsed, crazy *****
