Question on tv tuner..

Just getting my head together on building a htpc..

So far, I have a p4 2.4g northwood chip to be used on an ASUS p4p800-x.

I just bought a pvr150 tv-tuner card off ebay. Am I right in saying that if i use this card, I can only record what I am watching, or can I record one channel and watch another? bit confused about this. I only have chorus cable in the apt.

For the graphics card, should I get one of the all-in-wonder cards with a built in tuner. Can I use both this tuner and the pvr150 together?

In the process of purchasing a case (sonata 2 from komplett) and some memory and a harddrive (300gig).

I'll be starting out with mediaportal to see I can get this thing up and running.

Any other suggestions are welcome - currently scanning all related threads to find out as much as possible.

    Thanks,

    D.

With Chorus nope not possible as far as I'm aware you'd need more than one Chorus set top box.

See answer above, the AIW line are good cards though ATI aren't making any more of them so get one while they last if that's what your after.
