yeah shock horror... I discover that this morning too... even on www.senshido.com forum, people are going on about it.

aside for the 15 mins monthly Q + A session with Geoff, he seemed to have minimal involvement. The Mods were great, no slagging nor bad mouthing was allowed, it was full for pure positive MA content from some of the top guys in the world, whom you could interact with!!!!

Yeah it sucks! As you said Geoff seemed to have minimal involvement. I reckon something else is going on.:mad:

Pisser is - that I was chatting to a few really sound lads via PM's – but I can't actually contact them now. As I only knew them by their log in names. I'm going to write in and see if I can get some contact names.

I was reading on Geoff's sister site “Bohemian Cafe”, that aparently even the moderators did not know until the last minute. Aparently they are trying to set up a new forum with the same Moderators and the same type of positive attitude. I think they may also let people get details and stuff from the old forum – but this is still TBD (I guess it's totally up to Geoff).

I just seems odd, one day your posting away, and a few hours later...BANG...show over... no prior warning...no real reason etc.

I' d say there is alot of disappointed posters out there today!

that site was a brilliant resource for learning, and probably the best MA forum around.

Any other recommendations for a new forum?

www.senshido.com is good, but I liked GTs set up much better, with the different sub forums etc, and Den Martin and all them with their own sections. etc etc

Not too sure yet Ger, but I'll keep you posted. Mick was saying that there are a few guys going to start up pretty much the same forum - 'cept it's going to be much more Combatives oriented apparently (which would be class feckin' class:D ).
I got an email from Richard at the GT forum. It's back in, "read only" mode. So people can get their info etc. Not too sure how long it will be around for - so grab whatever you can .
