    Hi all,
I'm quite happy with this one so I decided to throw it up for an asskicking. Should I have cropped, bordered, exposed or just cleaned up a bit more?

I reckon you have done well with this one and probably wouldn't have touched it any more. Nice detail on the subject and very clear. Good work.:)

This is great!! The light is beautiful and the dof is perfect. Technically spot on with lovely composition.

That's really excellent. Maybe post some details on lens/camera/settings/set up.

It's all in the EXIF data on flickr. As for a set up, high wind, a mate held the leaf of some huge ornamental plant that shouldn't be growing in Ireland at all and I shot away. It was taken in the graveyard of Fenor church.

Thats a very nice capture.. maybe a bit less of the out of focus area under the leaf.

I agree all right, but after trying several crops and positioning of the bug I ended up with this one. I suppose compositionally it does break the rules quite a bit, but believe it or not this is about the best crop I could come up with.
