Didn't they sell the stock to Debenhams as well?

They didn't sell the buildings. That's what they kept. They've left retail. Roches is now a property company & landlord.

The one in Tallaght had 40% off the majority of the mens lines - levi's/springfield/wrangler/cotton field etc. The shoes were really cheap as well, other half got some Dubarrys that were reduced from 75 euro to 18 :)

Levi's/wrangler Jeans 1/2 price, Clarke’s, Wrangler, Ecco shoes also 1/2 price, same with shirts, Clubman etc all 1/2 price this is a very good sale lads not advertised to much heard about it from a mate who works in RS. I have nothing to do with roches, in fact never liked the shop, but they had great bargains today got me self a pair of eco shoes from €85 for €42.50 and wrangler jeans from €58 for €28.50 so go for it lads, what’s left.:)

Pull&Bear wasn't discounted, but stuff like Levis, Dockers, Cottonfield were.

Picked up a few good bargains there yesterday, but it really wasn't the sale of the century that op suggested.

And thanks to the brain-dead numpty behind the counter I have to go back again today to get the explosive anti-theft tags removed from the clothes I bought.

Yes Blanch, most of the 'good' stuff is gone now, not that RS stock many decent Men's ranges in the first place.

    Was in Blackrock store yesterday.

Not much left on sale. Oasis, pull&bear, etc didn't have much on sale. Other areas had pretty much everything at half price.

But not much left. A lot of odd sizes (XXL, or S). Thought I'd pick up some nice suit shirts but all they had were easy iron shirts (high polyester count, yuck!). Got some nice ties for a fiver each and socks for 4e. (for pack of 2).

But apart from that not much. I think the homewares section might be the better place for bargains. The garden centre in Blackrock was prac giving away stuff (10e bag of top soil ~2e). Although by sunday it was prac empty of stock.

Was in the Tallaght branch last night just before they closed & got 2 pairs of Ecco shoes €60 each. All shoes were half price. The stock was going fast as they had the left & right shoes out on display. Clubman/Peter England shirts were going cheapish.Just waiting for some of the Kartel stuff to go cheap & get a size to fit me lol.
