Anyone's lite starting to crack? Mine seems to be still good, but apparently, it's become an epidemic. I assume it's connected to open and closing the thing, and since I never close it, it doesn't affect me

I think t'internet people are making it sound a lot worse than it actually is, like the whole dead pixels thing with the PSP, and Xbox 360 PSUs catching fire or some gibberish like that.

One of the few pictures I've seen online showing cracked hinges (here) also shows some dents/scratches on the corner of the DS, which kinda shows he's not exactly been taking care of it.

I've had mine since the beginning of last month and have been playing it almost daily, and don't see any cracks yet. But then again mine's a black one - AFAIK it's only ever happened with white Lites so far.

Yeah mine is white and I care for it in spades (hugs DS) no absue her, so prehaps it is something to do with the colour.

Mine's the same - no dead pixels, no cracks. Loving it. Half way through New Super Mario Bros. Are nintendo agreeing to replace affected DS Lites?

They will swap them, they dont even have a dead pixel limit, one is enough to get changed, they have a really good returns pollicy.
