What's the minimum acceptable period of staying in a job before leaving ? From attending interviews point of view ?

How much you have to stay in a job in order not raise suspicions that you could not adapt, etc ?

What if you have a really strong reason, changing locations, etc ?

    Thanks.

6 months, and you can mark it off as experience.

3 days, and you can say that the job didn't match what you were told in the interview.

When I applied for my current job I had left my previous two jobs after 10 months. The first was an dreadful job which I should have left sooner. The second was a reasonable job but I decided I didn't want to be in that area in the long term so i left when a good opportunity arose. There was not problem explaining this at interview but I certainly don't want to add a third short term position to my experience list as employers woud begin to have doubts after that.
