    Hi Guys.

    Is there any converter for using a sata hard drive on an ide mobo? Thats it. Cheers.

    Umm ... the OP wants to use a SATA HD on an IDE mobo - your link only works for the reverse.

    Petes, you can safely ignore the above post. There's no way to use a SATA drive on an IDE Port, but if you have a spare PCI slot (most old boards should) you can add a SATA Controller or a SATA RAID Controller to your system and plug a SATA HD into that.

    But TBH a separate PCI SATA card would be a better way to go.
