Here is an interesting article in today’s times, the general reading in-between the lines jest of the article is that women are hysterical, stupid and over emotional. Men are; surprise surprise, completely brilliant and its a pity we all don’t have big man brains. Anyway tell what you make of it.

I thought this would get more replies beacuse its an important topic for gay people. To what extinct would you as a gay man consider yourself to have a female brain and vice versa with lesbians.

 Male of course. Effeminate gay people confuse me... especially the ones who refer to men as 'she'

Interesting article alright, I've seen it knocking around somewhere else on boards already. It's no secret that the brains differ, but I'm very sceptical of a theory that claims that we're actually smarter. All of the women in my family are more intelligent than me, sorry *I*.

There's quite a bit to read in that and i only skimmed through it although i do remember watching a documentary on sky a while ago.

Aparantly, the hypothalmus in the brain is shaped differently and has a different make-up in the middle for both men and women. The hypothalmus, among doing other things produces some of the hormones that sends us all insane during puberty.

However, some scientist (in sweden or norway i think) has disected brains of transexuals and found that the hypothalmus of those people are more like the hypothalmus of the opposite sex, rather than the body they were born with.

(Apologies if I have gotten the language incorrect there, I dont meen to insult anyone, but you know what i am getting at i hope.)
