Dual Display

I have an ATi 9550 at present powering a Samsung 940BF TFT on the DVI output. When I attached a cable to the VGA out put and the other end into a 32" LCD I hoped to be able to duplicate the display from my monitor exactly onto the TV just like using the TV out option.

I found that I can only extend the display from my monitor to the TV. Is there any way I can use the software to do this or if there could be some sort of DVI splitter.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Do you have the catalyst control center installed? If not download it from www.ati.com. there is a link to it on the left of that page (you will also need .net framework if you dont already have it)

In catalyst control center you can go through a display wizard that lets you choose what you want each monitor to display..eg you can duplicate your main monitor(what you want) or stretch the desktop.

    Hope you get this working,
