    should be good,
    I heard that if you go 4ms - 2ms it too quick and the quality sucks:confused:

    I have a slighly older version of this monitor, 8ms also very close if not the same specs , great for games no dead pixels, how ever i had my pc connected to a samsung syncmaster recently that i chose the benq over at the time i bought it last year,

    While the differnce on games was not the huge normal video playback was to my eyes that bit better on the samsung, as was the viewing angle.

    yeah like calex I have a BenQ thats about 6 months old (FP91G+) but doesn't seem to be on your list of monitors, although its the same spec pretty much (same contrast ratio, brightness, res. time) I'm happy with it, although I can't compare it to a CRT, i've pretty much used TFTs since they first came out. You have to ask yourself what you use your monitor for the "majority" of the time. For the likes of gaming your most important features are contrast ratio and res. time. You want a low res. and a high contrast ratio. The only problem with these though is that to usually get a good contrast ratio you'll get glare off the monitor (i.e. Sony Xblack) which gives you a lot a eye strain if you also use the monitor for a lot of reading (i.e. internet, docs) or doing work on (i.e. CAD), if you do work on it, you want the screen to have more of a matt effect, that doesn't reflect, but you'll lose contrast, meaning your games won't look so sharp... its the toss up.

    I got my monitor because 70% time I work and read with it and then 30% time I game. The one you have there should meet these needs also, although if you want one purely for gaming, aim for a lower res. (4ms?) and a higher contrast ratio (700:1?)

    I've the same BenQ as L31mr0d - the FP91G+.

    It's my second LCD, so I've not much to compare it with (only the HP 1702 that's still connected) - but I've no complaints - no dead or lit pixels.

    A mate of mine bought one and he has a single lit pixel, botom-right-ish. Can't really see it with a white/bright background.

    All in all, I'm a happy bunny.

    for the LCD i want to get it says:

    Viewing Angle 140/135(CR>=10) 160/160(CR>=5)

    i don't understand that though whats CR 10 and 5?

    are those good viewing angles?
