Travel Insurance extention beyond 12 months..

    This is one for those that were abroad for over a year.

    My friends and I got 12 months travel insurance before leaving Ireland.
    The middle of september our insurance runs out and our travel insurance people will not extend our cover.

    We have tried a few insurance companies in Ireland but I have to be leaving Ireland the date my cover begins. My policy cannot start when Im already abroad!

    I need an insurance company that will cover me for the next 3 months worldwide, with the policy starting when im already travelling, for around 100 Euro.

    Anyone any experience getting this type of insurance? None of us are VHI or BUPA members.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers, N.
