    Hi all,

It's gratifying to see so many people interested in television game shows.

My late employer/friend/mentor, Mark Goodson, was the very first to create a game show back in 1949, New York City, and ultimately created shows that are still on the air today. He is considered the Father of the Game Show by Merv Griffin, and all other who followed in his footsteps. He created What's My Line?, Family Feud, Password (and all its descendants), Trivia Trap, The Price is Right, I've Got a Secret, Body Language, and a host of others.

If anyone has a question, I'll be happy to answer (if I can).

    So long for now.

    Hi there,

Was Password sold to Ulster Television in the 1980's? Gordon Burns presented it, as a sideline to the Krypton Factor.

If not, it was certainly a similiarily named programme...
