BF2 problem

    Righteo so bf2 decides to randomly restart my computer about 30 mins into playing the game each time, just wondering if any1 had a similar problem , my specs are
    3 ghz p4
    1 gig of corsiar ram
    pny 6600gt
    400watt psu

    30 minutes? Any idea how hot your PC becomes? Maybe an overheating problem? Oh, and what make PSU? Had a crap one that froze the PC, so a restart with a crap PSU wouldn't surprise me, tbh.

    Yep, pc's auto shutdown when Temp reachs a certain stage. Assuming its not a dell you could Download Speedfan/Motherboard Monitor and check what your idle/load temps are. Anything over 70 is bad.

    Like the guys said it could be overheating, it also could be the PSU giving up when its put under too much pressure.

    its no overheating, the cpu only goes to like 55 max and thats on full load,its a mercury 400wat psu, not a great model, its fairly new
