so i'm watching the RTE2 sesaon (have access to s1 but like the anticipation) and have recently seen the episode re Michael's genius and empathy for others. This struck a chord with me as I was a big fan of The Pretender when it was showing (it was dropped , had a few tv movies, and remains unresolved) however the characters attributes seem the same

Both are highly intelligent.
Both are "helpers" who have gone out of their way to assist less fortunates.
In the way Jarod would resolve each episode overcoming the "twist" Michael is now overcoming the "kinks" in his plan on a weekly basis.

Don't mistake this for a put down.. I love both shows.. Just wondering has anyone else made this connection? (I know tv is repetative btw)

Actually I did quite like The Pretender, but no, never made that connection.

I liked that part in the last Prison Break ep, good insight into Michael.

Oh yeah, I remember that show. Can't say I was ever a big fan of it. Vaguely similar ideas but I would find Prison Break far superior.
Now how about Renegade, I think Michael is just like Rhino Rains, and V, she's a dead ringer for Bobby Sixkiller
