I have been lucky enough to have stayed at castle leslie, lovley place... I didnt hear about any stories or suspicions of hauntings.... as i didnt see MH I am a little miffed... Can you explain the reasoning behind the investigation at that location and any results or conclusions??? BTW it is a very very very very expensive place to visit/stay so i think it might be a little outside most peoples budgets

think her name was lady constance who hanunts it and some lord who died in a war in france as well as one or two others

there wasn't much activity but they recorded footage of tables levitating / moving on their own which is a first for MH as far as I can ever remember

    Hi,

I haven't seen that episdoe of MH either.

My mother worked there as a chambermaid ( and lived in) in the 1950s. In all her time there she never experienced anything unusual. Her belief, and the common local belief as far as I know, is that many of the stories were fabricated for the sake of generating publicity. That doesn't explain tables moving though... were wotsisname the producer and Stuart in the room by any chance? (ok don't answer that one.. this isn't a MH debate thread!)
I'll see my mam later this week and grill her about her time there and feed back any juicy information if anyone is interested.

I've had a day tour round the castle though I've never stayed in it. I do know it is very expensive so I can't imagine an investigation being viable but it is a beautiful place and glaslough is a lovely village and worth a visit if you are up in that neck of the woods.
