Splitting audio output between 2 speaker sets

I'm looking to run both a set of headphones and a speaker set off my computer simultaneously. An old Soundblaster card had both a speaker out and line out port which let me do this, but my current SB live and integrated sound cards seem to lack this functionality. I have tried a y-splitter, but this sends the left stereo to one speaker set and the right to another. Are there any other options out there?
