doesn't tell you anything about the ram, harddrive(s), gfx.. etc etc

Typical, no mention of what processor, gfx, hd or memory. Dont be fooled about soundcard.....its onboard intel, they didnt add 1.
I wouldn't recommend pc world from all i've read bout them. go to dell, you'll get a better deal with higher specs.

Apologies I thought it mentioned everything

512mb nVidia GeForce 760GS Graphics card

    2gb ram & 400 gb HD

Have a look elsewhere OP. Komplett would probably have a lot better for your money.

Go to Dell. Pc World's reputation is not good. Their staff know nothing about pc's & they are always more epensive than online. Keep an eye out for deals on the dell site. Dell post deals on ebay also, usually pc's scratched? damaged in production ect. Do not buy off pc world

    Edit: Read these: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/searchbt.php?search=pc+world+problems&scope=4&order=1
    Speaks for itself really

    Dell outlet:http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=ie&l=en&s=dfo

    Edit spotted this: http://cgi.ebay.ie/NEW-3-2GHz-DUAL-CORE-PD-940-Viiv-DELL-DIMENSION-9150-PC_W0QQitemZ300012755122QQihZ020QQcategoryZ179QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
You might want to investigate the seller tho. i know nothing bout them. can buy monitor with money left over.

you can alsohave 2 hot swappable hdds for that pc. there are two hdds available. the 300gb @ 300$ and the 400gb for 400$. i used to work for pc world, and that pc is muck. nothing but problems with it. go to dell tbh. better spec with a 19" for much much less.

Whatever you end up doing OP, get a decent warranty on the computer. Good luck. :)

What were trying to say is, either do a custom build, or go to dell.

Presume it will support vista when it comes out?

    Not bad for €1559

Thinking for investing in it - I can claim the vat back so makes it more appealing

1600 euro...do you have any idea what you can buy for 1600euro
investigate with a friend who actually knows abouts pcs
get him to build you one from komplett, for that money you would get a pretty much top specced pc/media center, good luck
