This won't sent anyone's imagination on fire, but I'm looking for a cheap (€50-€60) card to upgrade the gf's PC.

What's the best one out there for the money?

PS: I'm also on the lookout for an Athlon XP 2800/3000, 1024MB DDR 400 & a quiet heatsink/fan. (back in Dublin, begining of September).

    AGP or PCI Express ?

Not that it matters much but for €50 there isn't too much of a difference between cards at that price point get whatever falls within your budget. If you wanted to stretch the budget a tad a PCI-E 7300GS is one of the faster low end offerings for €66.

For €54 a GeForce 6200 AGP should do.

    thanks for the info

notice that is a XFX 6200A
is there a difference between it and the 6200?

also i've found a PowerColor ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256 MB DDR
for about the same price, is the 6200 still the better choice?

go for the 9600pro (or an XT if you can find one anywhere), they're great little cards.
