    Alright Lads and lassies,

The time has finally come for me to take this step foward and sell the baby.....Yes its my Cossie replica. For anyone that knows me this is my pride and joy, and in some respects, I really don't want to sell it cause its what I have spent hours driving round in, however I also I want to move on and get this Escort van project on its way too, so thats really why I'm selling it....I have a new project!

If this is the kinda car that you've been looking for and your under 25, then this is the one to go for. Why? Well have a look at the few points below.

    1. Because it is cheap on insurace its only costing me €1100 fully comp
    2. Insurance companies will quote you on this even with a provisional and no previous history.
    3. Cheap enough on petrol, depending on how it is driven.....
    4. The road tax is €397 a year

There isn't a whole lot of fancy information that I can give you on this kinda car, cause it ain't no performance vehicle, but it does look the biz and certainly is a true eye-catcher and thats its main selling point. Its still very much a stock car with all the fancy parts features fitted. Below is the main info that you can take and use to ponder over.
    • Year : 1994 - MK5a
    • Miles : 117000
    • Chassis : 3 Doors
    • Engine : 1.6 16v DOHC Zetec
    • Drivetrain : FWD Manual 5 speed.
    • Suspension : Spax G-Max lowered 40mm
    • Exhaust : Full stainless steel tip'd backbox
    • Wheels : 16" Ford GTi's 205/50/16 with brand new tyres, allround fitted, only two weeks ago.
    • Features : Drivers airbag, elec windows, Central locking, Professional tinted windows, immobiliser, Alarm, metalic paintwork
    • Interior : Door cards re-done as can be seen in the picture, as well as the center console done too.
    • Exterior : The full Escort Cosworth Kit on her. The upper and lower Spoiler, front/back bumpers changed, full size wide arch kit fitted , genuine Cosworth front lights & Bonnet is custom vented.

Now for the bad bits.
    1. The front splitter has a nasty smash in it as you'll see from the pics below. All my own fault....
    2. The paintwork around the bonnet vents has come away in parts.
    3. Due to the Whaletail being moulded flush with the chassis, some cracks have developed
    4. also the base of the stalk of the whaletail has also developed a few cracks due to all the feckin potholes in Ireland....
    5. Its an old car, so there are its fair share of area's that are showing bits of rust, but nothing that is serious.

However now that those bad points are out in the open, I would like to say that the front bumper is Easily fixable, its just I couldn't be bothered right now, but will certainly fix for a decent offer price. Also for anyone that knows this kind of car, they will know that the spoiler that sits on the back there ain't all just for show, it also has its impact on the cars handling at speeds of 70mph.

Anyhow now that ya have the details of the car, here is the real deal. I am after €5000, but am open to offers. So if your genuinely interested, call me on 085-7240391 or email me slickjim@eircom.net, or of course ya can still use the Private Messaging service.
