Everytime I load the front page it pauses for approx 10 seconds with this message. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Ok, found a workaround for anyone else having this problem, if you download the Adblock extension for Firefox and add http://www.star-adserver.com to the URL's to block it fixes the problem.
