    Heading in tomorrow to fulfil my usual quota of about ten bets a year, already had the winner in the Plate so doing quite well, wouldn't mind keeping up that kind of form tomorrow. Working all week so didn't get the chance to go in yet... anyway, anyone got any tips etc. could do with makin a few bob to get me through the long weekend :D

    He'll be a short price but I'd be surprised if Blue Coral is beaten in the 4:50.

    His form is, as I like to say, bitchin'! He was 3rd on his debut just behind Teofilo (won a Listed race since) and Red Rock Canyon (should win at Goodwood tomorrow). Running a very good race in 5th that day behind Blue Coral was a horse called Eyshal who in his previous race finished 4th behind Duke Of Marmalade (almost won a Group 2 race at Goodwood on Wednesday), Supposition (hacked up at Galway on Tuesday) and Ferneley (won well tonight at Galway).

    He has one tough opponent to beat in Abide With Me but hopefully that will just keep Blue Coral at a reasonable price. 4/5 and up is value imo.

    About an hour ago I saw on oddschecker that the race was priced up by Bet365 and they went 11/10 Abide With Me, 2/1 Blue Coral. I nearly broke my fingers trying to set up an account with them as fast as I could but unforunately the prices were gone and they now have the race at SP like all other bookies. I'd say they took a hit on that rick.
