Bagged Wood Pellets

I am seriously looking at installing a wood pellet boiler to run the central heating system for a 3 bed semi. In order to defray some of the initial cost, I was thinking about using bagged wood pellets as opposed to bulk delivery for the first year or two, after which I intend to purchase a bulk hopper. Problem is I am having trouble finding suppliers of wood pellets in bagged form in the Wicklow area.

Has anyone any information on where these could be found?

    Hi,

The supplier of your pellet system should be able to guarantee you a supply of fuel, it is possible to buy bagged pellet by the tonne on a pallet.

SEI have a new section dealing with fuel suppliers there may be information about a local suppler there.

bagged pellets much dearer than bulk, somthing like 256 a ton versus 145 so could be false economy
