    hi friends,

    i wish to know your comments about opel meriva which one of my friends is planning to buy. it was offered for 10 grands and it is of low milage ( less than 10k).

    please share your peace of mind...

    Don't know much about them. €10k sounds fairly ok (from a private buyer, I presume), average retail price seems to be somewhere about €12k on carzone.

    On a lighter note, what is the deal with opel badging their cars with "life"?
    Does it mean you're stuck with it for life?:D

    If so it is a bit pricy for a private sale especially when you can pick up another low mileage one from a garage with a warranty for less:

    The Meriva is basically an Opel Corsa underneath with a bit more room. From what I have seen it is not as practical as it is made out to be.
