I got an ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe a couple of weeks ago for my first build. I found it to be very easy to work with. The asus mobo are generally very user friendly, particularly for noob pc builders like myself :)

Havent tried to overclock it yet but its meant to be a good overclocker. A very good (albeit expensive) board but I plan for it to last me a long time.

Dont know whether that answers your question but I'd thought I'd give you my experience with AM2. There seems to be very few people going AM2 with conroe now being released.

I got it from Dabs.com for £133.83 (~€200). (Carefull of the prices, you have to stick them in your cart to see the correct vat rate and delivery charges for Ireland.)

I stuck an A64 3800+ in it when the prices dropped now im gonna wait and see what AMDs response is to conroe. Hopefully the socket am2 opterons will be good.

i was thinking bout uupgrading to conroe but it appears as if it will only have a short lifespan and i will have to upgrade mobo's in the next year whereas AM2 seems like it has potential
