    200NLH 6max.

    stacks 200

i've QQ utg, make it 8. 1 TAG caller then SB (SLA) raises 9 more. I raise 20 on top and am minraised 20 more, I call.

    Flop A78r. (pot $120)

I pause and bet $30 and am called.
turn 4h and SB bets out $25....

    what do you think?

What hands are you beating that play Villains hand like this? Does Villain check to you on the flop?

What hand plays like this at all? AA...KK?

    Yeah, he checked flop.

    Not beating much.
Was wondering if I should have a shot at pushing Villain off KK.

If you're going to bet the flop, Bet it, I don't like any of your bet sizes in this hand apart from the first PF raise.

Having said all that as played, I'd fold to the $20 re-raise PF, either call the 9 or make it 40 more there's SLA, but even so, with this action I'd say it's AA or KK about 90% of the time (read and history absent).

It's too late for that, he's not folding now, unless you've seen him making similar laydowns in the past

Just call his reraise preflop. I know it's a dumbass raise he made but re-reraising accomplishes nothing. The hand plays way different now but when the flop comes out A high I an usually just check/folding.

What do I do to a low flop then? I'd often do it to an overly aggressive player, but I'd be very cautious about putting any more money in on a low flop after the reraise PF.

On a 852 flop I'll check/call the flop. My turn action is very player dependant.

Against a nit I could check/fold the turn to a decent bet or against a looser player I cold c/r AI or check/call, it depends.

My thoughts of the small flop bet was trying to rep a big hand. I don't think Ak would want to bet too large on such a dry flop when villian prob has 2 outs (thats what i wanted him to think). But it is putting me in a predicament regards getting bluffed I'd agree.

Also, wouldn't you call 20 more for a $100 pot purely to hit a set. Getting pot odds nearly, let alone implied?

But what to do next? U bet 30 on flop, he bet 25 on turn? Re-raise to 125? See whats happening? Hope to take it down there, fold to re-raise?

Well, I folded next to his rather strange turn bet. Guess he had AAA....hope so at least!

    seems incredibly likely.

Just call his reraise, check the flop, call the turn, fold the river (if he bets).

Why are you bluffing with QQ?
Would you ever bet such a small amount with a proper hand?

Yep, (as in I'd call) and TBH, I'd never fold anything ever to a min-re raise Pre-Flop,

?? he min reraised me 20 pf, thought you said I should fold to this.

in the hopes he'd fold KK for 25 to a 100+ pot. Alot of people would fold KK to an ace flop after so much action preflop (at least I think they might...)

yeah, i'd probably do the same with AA. not usually but because of the PF action I've have to put him on a high pair or AK.

LOL, I sure did, must have been a rush of blood to the head, but as you say it's a call for set value, and call one bet. But I wouldn't have played the hand like this so the situation wouldn't have arisen.
