Anyone got one of these. I'm sick of buying batteries for my controllers, and was pretty close to buying rechargeables last week, but this is even cheaper (20 quid from Lik-Sang). Is it any good?

Will give ya 15quid for it? (sorry mods, if its wrong to make an offer on the main boards as opposed to adverts)

It's a complete must buy for 360 owners.

I went for a 15 min charger and 2700mAh batteries off ebay works a charm!

But when your batteries run dry, you have to swap them out, charge them, etc... But with the official one, you can just connect straight to 360, and keep playing without any extra bulky **** around.

Well most chargers I priced had 4 batteries, so 2 in the controller and 2 recharging. Never run dry. Am I right in thinking though that the play n charge is attached to both the controller and the console? How long's the cable? I can see that getting annoying.

well i ordered one last week. as far as i know it is connected to the top of te controller and then into one of the usb ports. i would imagine the cable is as long as the wired controller

Exactly, and I always have charged ones ready, just a quick battery change, even if i didn't cuz i have the 15 min charger I could just throw them on the thing go make a sandwich and they'd be done, saves on having extra cables and stuff! I suppose its your own preference really, but I'm really happy with my method!

I have it, and it works great. The cable is pretty long, but that wasn't a concern for me anyway since I don't sit far from my console. Best bit is that it charges the controller even after you switch off the console. Plus there's no interruption for your controller - you just plug it in and it charges away - handy if you're in the middle of an online multiplayer game and you notice the LEDs around the guide button flashing, and can't afford to "disconnect" your controller to swap batteries.

I just use normal rechargeable battery i have 4 of them. So when the 2 run out in my controller there are 2 fully charged ones ready :)

I've got 2 battery packs and one recharge wire, so I've got 1 recharging all the time.

i have the "official" charger, as was said cable is quite long, and the system is really quite good, as soon as battery starts running out just plug in and away u go !

the plug and play charge kit it great but the cable was getting on my tits so i got the 360 charger that plugs into the mains and i have two rechargable batteries in that and one in the controller , so there is always two fully charged batteries ready .
