Shipping a Laptop overseas

Hi All. Does anyone here have any experience of shipping a laptop overseas? I'll need to send a laptop and a few hard drives to Sydney Australia sometime during November and I'm wondering how I'll pack it. I've tried looking around the DHL site but they seem to only say pack it well but no advice on how to pack it. I wont be able to carry it myself as I'll most likely be stopping off in a few place for a few weeks so I don’t want to be lugging it around with me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well I've been always advised to remove the battery from laptops and hard drives from computers if possible and ship them seperately in Polystyrene packing.

Cheers Ruu. Separately meaning separate shipments or individually wrapped in the same shipment?

Individually wrapped should be fine, same shipment for handiness, at least they should all arrive at the same time.

Anyone have any suggestions as to where I'd get suitable packaging materials for this?
