what does anyone think about my play here?

i was dealt K 10 off-suit! player raised before the flop so i called

    flop dealt J 9 8

he raised again, i re-raised, he called

    turn was an A

he raised, i pushed all-in, he called

he had 9 7suited, nothing came on the river, he won!!!!

    bad play, yes or no???

Terrible all round. don't play preflop with this hand to a raise. Don't reraise with a drawing hand to a player who obviously doesn't know how to fold a hand he has any piece of. Wait until you have adecent holding then push against him.

Then again it seems like you were playing against an idiot, so knock yourself out.

  • you had a king high on the flop, with the possibility of a straight being held by the other player...

You had an Ace High on the turn with the possibility of a straight being held, a pair of aces being held, or any pair being held.

For the river, the only card to give you a hand would be a queen..

personally, i would've jumped away from that flop, an known i was beat.

    Emm sorry what?

Surely there should be some numbers here somewhere? You hardly have a hand, what are you doing?

I 2nd 5starpool on this KTo is a terrible hand to call a raise with unless you are heads up or in the big blind and have odds to call. Cold calling a raise in a no limit game with this hand is asking for trouble.

After u saw pre-flop u have a nice enuf hand however if u r in position which it appears u r!?. Whether u call raise or fold depends a lot on ur opponent, position and amount he/she bets - u haven't provided that info so hard 2 judge - without that info i would say in general it's ok to get to turn either by calling or if u think he may fold by raising.

On da turn u have missed ur draw - if he prices u in on the hand a flat call is fine otherwise FOLD - though the guy was a complete idiot to actually call ur all-in (unless it wasn't 4 much - again u don't say how many chips u have left) so u were unlucky in that he actually called ur dodgy semi-bluff.

In future don't call raises in no limit with dodgy hands like KTo!

I can understand your preflop call especially if you have seen this guy play like a maniac before.

The flop and turn are very bad..dont push against people like this

Your next step is to rebuy for the max, wait till you have a hand and check raise/reraise him all the way.
